Terms of Service

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using our services.

1. Service Details

Seasonal snow removal services are provided from November 1, 202X to March 31, 202(X+1).

Driveways will be automatically cleared for qualifying snowfalls of 5 cm or more within a 48-hour period.

There is no limit on the number of service visits during the season.

During major snowfalls of 25 cm or greater, service timelines may be delayed due to weather conditions and operational demands.

2. Preparing Your Property

Please prepare your property before snowfall events:

  • Remove vehicles, bins, mats, toys, and other movable items.
  • Trim branches to provide at least 9 feet of vertical clearance.
  • Mark hidden objects such as valves, curbs, planters, and landscaping with stakes.
  • If obstructions prevent safe service, snow removal may be delayed or skipped temporarily.

3. After-Season Support

For qualifying snowfalls of 5 cm or greater after March 31, customers may contact us for additional assistance.

Service may be complimentary or fee-based, not exceeding $25 per event.

Policy updates will be announced on the company website and by email.

4. Emergency Service

Emergency snow removal assistance is available for customers currently under contract, subject to crew availability and weather conditions.

Please contact us immediately if you are blocked in or require urgent assistance.

5. Discounts

Early Bird Discount

Customers who sign up before October 10, 202X qualify for a 10% Early Bird Discount.

Referral Program

Customers may share their personal referral number with friends or neighbors.

If a referred customer signs up before December 1, 202X:

  • The referring customer receives a 5% discount.
  • The new customer also receives a promotional discount.

6. Refund Policy

Customers may cancel seasonal service before the season start date for a full refund, subject to a $50 administrative/service fee.

Once the seasonal service period begins on November 1, no refunds will be issued.

Refund requests must be submitted before the season begins.

7. Service Limitations

Stittsville Snow Removals is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by hidden or improperly marked objects.
  • Delays caused by extreme weather conditions.
  • Blocked driveways or parked vehicles.
  • Ice accumulation beneath snow layers.
  • Conditions beyond operational control.
